Dr. Sylvia Szabo, is an Assistant Professor in the Rural Regional Development Planning (RRDP) Program of the Department of Development and Sustainability (DDS) at School of Environment, Resources and Development, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). Her research focuses on human-wellbeing, social equity and human-environment interactions in low and middle income countries. Previously, Dr Szabo worked at Save the Children, University of Southampton, and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculous and Malaria. She also consulted for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. Dr Szabo is a graduate of University of Southampton, London School of Economics and Sorbonne University.
